Frosty

Last week offered us temps well below freezing for several nights in a row. 

 When that happens, the citrus farmers don't sleep. 

 

The hum of wind machines are heard all night and morning long.

 

 

A bit of cold make the fruit sweet, but too much damages the texture of the fruit and can severely damage the tree itself. 

 

 

Thankfully, it appears the farmers have dodged a bullet. 

 

 

 The frosty temps have just made things pretty in the mornings.
